A New Chapter

As I mentioned in my last post, I have an announcement to make.  

Drum roll…

This morning I submitted my resignation to my boss.  I gave 30 days notice and will be moving south in mid-December.  Initially I will be in Portland for the U2 show on Dec 19th and then down to California for the holiday season.  After that, things are a bit up in the air.  There are only three people in the company who have been here longer than me, I’ve seen lots of people come and go over my 3+ years.  Lots of great people.  Lots of people who are flooding me with emails as it has now “gone public” around here.  The memo said MKinAK “has resigned in order to write a new chapter in his life down in the lower 48.”  So I will still use my MKinAK blog for the next month or so, but I will be launching a new blog at MKinMotion.  There are some logistics to be worked out between now and December 19, but I feel good about my decision to leave my job and move south.  I’ve got a lot to do at work and in my personal life between now and then, though.
