Here We Go
After a dismal 0-3 weekend, MKinAK crawls back out to make some picks to make up for the losses. I stay more current with the Pac-10 and SEC so my picks tend to reflect that. Georgia has a bye week or I would have money on them to bounce back big, they got their loss out of the way and will win out the rest of the season. The Big 10, Big 12 and ACC are a little sketchier, so those games tend to show up in the intriguing games rather than the picks. The top three picks are wagers I have placed.
Tennessee at Notre Dame (Irish -8.5) – Notre Dame will beat Tennessee. The Volunteers have lost their last 3 games against Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. Going into South Bend will be a tough environment for a troubled Tennessee team.
NC State @ Florida State (FSU -13.5) – Florida State will try to take advantage of the other ACC battle (Miami/VaTech) by solidifying a win against a struggling NC State team.
Oregon State at Washington (Beavers -3.5) – This used to be a game that the Huskies would look forward to, but since their decline, the Beavers are definitely looking forward to going to Seattle this weekend.
Other intriguing games…
Miami @ Virginia Tech (VaTech -6.5) – This is a great ACC matchup that will have BCS ramifications one way or another. If Miami can win, they will not only elevate themselves, but all other 1 loss teams. I like Miami to either win or lose by less than the 6.5.
Texas A&M @ Texas Tech (Tech -16.5) – Tech should cover the 16.5 point spread, but A&M can definitely be a spoiler.
Cal at Oregon (Oregon -2) – Autzen could be the difference in this game. Bellotti knows Tedford, Tedford knows Bellotti. As mentioned below, Dennis Dixon could become a hero by winning this game.
