College Football

As mentioned before, I’m going to let you in on my weekly college football bets.  Without going into too much of a sports gambling lesson, I will explain each of these three bets.

  1. Oregon at Arizona  -  The line is Oregon -10.  I see Oregon winning and winning by more than 10.  So I take “Oregon -10”.  To give some additional insight for those of you who are new to sports gambling, the alternative would be to take “Arizona +10” which means if you think Oregon would either lose or win by less than 10.

  2. Tennessee at Alabama – The line is Alabama -3.5.  I take “Alabama -3.5”.  Alabama has looked good and Tennessee hasn’t.

  3. Washington State at Cal – The line is Cal -13.5.  I think Cal will beat Washington State, but not by 14, so I’m taking “Washington State + 13.5”.

I should mention that all three of these wagers are small amounts of money.  And I don’t condone gambling, especially gambling that is out of your control.  But feel free to follow along with my wagers.

Two games that are intriguing, but I’m not willing to put money on:

  1. Texas Tech at Texas  (Texas -16.5) – If anyone is going to beat Texas (outside of USC in the Rose Bowl), it would be Texas Tech this weekend.

  2. Oregon State at UCLA (UCLA -9.5) – The Beavers have looked pretty good, not that UCLA hasn’t but this is an interesting match-up that the Bruins might be overlooking.

OSU vs. UCLA is the most intriguing game for me this weekend.

It may be just wishful thinking that UCLA would go against USC with a loss so UofO has a clear shot at #2 in the PAC10. Also I think there is more to the Matt Moore story than is coming out. Not to mention that I really hate UCLA. Beside UCLA is ripe for a loss they give up a TON of rushing yards (they needed OT to beat WSU. I would never bet this game, just to many emotions.

The Oregon game should have been better. They should have blown Arizon away...but no dice. Maybe next week Matt. Will these "lines" be a weekly installment??
